Ornge is seeking to procure a point of care blood analysis device for use in critical care, inter-facility transport, and scene responses including transport by land ambulance, rotor wing, and fixed-wing aircraft. The unit must be Health Canada certified and appropriate for use in all of these settings. Ornge anticipates an initial purchase of approximately 50 units, with the potential for additional purchases during the term of the contract. The contract duration is 3 years with two optional 1-year extensions. The procurement is conducted via open bidding with electronic bid submission.
