The City of Maple Ridge is seeking prequalified general contractors for a major water infrastructure project: - Government Buyer: - City of Maple Ridge, British Columbia - Scope of Work: - Supply and installation of a new 1.275 ML glass-fused-to-steel (GFS) bolted potable water storage tank - Construction of a new altitude valve chamber and associated water main connections - Installation of new tank drain manholes with HS-20 rated access hatches - Installation of stormwater piping and valves - Demolition of an existing bolted steel reservoir - Embankment excavation, site grading, and site restoration - Fencing, mechanical, and electrical improvements - Startup, testing, and commissioning of new and relocated equipment - Eligibility: - Only general contractors prequalified under the 25-094 Reservoir Upgrades Prequalification program may bid - Products/Services Requested: - 1.275 ML glass-fused-to-steel potable water storage tank (no specific OEM or part number specified) - Construction, mechanical, and electrical services for water utility infrastructure - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Comprehensive turnkey delivery including demolition, installation, and commissioning - HS-20 rated access hatches for tank drain manholes - All work to be performed in British Columbia, Canada - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

The City of Maple Ridge invites tenders from general contractors prequalified through 25-094 Reservoir Upgrades Prequalification for the McNutt Reservoir Replacement Project. The work includes supply and installation of a new 1.275 ML glass-fused-to-steel bolted potable water storage tank, a new altitude valve chamber, associated water main connections, installation of tank drain manholes with access hatches, stormwater piping and valves, demolition of an existing bolted steel reservoir, embankment excavation, site grading and restoration, fencing, mechanical and electrical improvements, startup, testing, and commissioning of equipment. The project is located in British Columbia and managed by the City of Maple Ridge. The solicitation is an Invitation to Tender (ITT) with a closing date of June 4, 2026.
