The Port of Long Beach is seeking qualified firms to provide on-call professional environmental consulting services for its Environmental Planning division. - Government Buyer: - Port of Long Beach, Environmental Planning division - City of Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners - Scope of Services: - Environmental site assessment and investigations (including Phase I and II assessments, sampling, historical research, compliance audits) - Environmental remediation (mitigation and cleanup of soil, groundwater, and radionuclide contamination; remedial design and implementation) - Hazardous building materials assessment and abatement (asbestos and lead-based paint surveys, removal, rapid response abatement, third-party monitoring) - Waste management and disposal (development of waste management plans, hazardous and non-hazardous waste profiling, manifesting, transportation, and disposal) - Environmental compliance and technical support (regulatory permitting, compliance audits, training, technical support, and documentation review) - Notable Requirements: - Services assigned via individual task orders, each ranging from 1 to 36 months - Multiple contracts may be awarded, with an aggregate value of $10,500,000 over three years - 27% Small Business Enterprise (SBE)/Very Small Business Enterprise (VSBE) participation goal - Compliance with prevailing wage laws for certain tasks - Rapid mobilization and demonstrated experience with regulatory agencies (DTSC, RWQCB, SCAQMD, EPA) - Robust insurance coverage required - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named, as this is a consulting services procurement - Opportunity is open to all qualified environmental consulting firms with strong regulatory and technical expertise

Description

The Port of Long Beach is seeking qualified consultants to provide on-call professional environmental consulting services. These services include environmental site assessment and investigations, environmental remediation, hazardous building materials assessment and abatement, waste management and disposal, and environmental compliance and technical support. The contracts will be awarded on an as-needed basis through individual task orders, with durations ranging from one to thirty-six months. The Port expects to award more than one contract from this procurement, with an estimated aggregate contract value of $10,500,000 over three years, subject to budgetary restrictions.
