Description
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) invites public comments on the proposed collection of information for the Annual Manufacturing Energy Consumption Survey, Form EIA-847, as required under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This survey collects data on energy consumption and expenditures from establishments in the manufacturing sector and is part of EIA's comprehensive energy data program. The new form EIA-847 will supplement the existing quadrennial survey with annual data collection to update the National Energy Modeling System (NEMS). Comments on the proposed information collection must be received by June 4, 2026.
