Description
In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Field Museum has completed an inventory of human remains and determined a cultural affiliation between the remains and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The notice involves the repatriation of human remains representing at least two individuals identified with the Tuscarora Nation. Repatriation may occur on or after June 4, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the Field Museum's NAGPRA Director.
