Description
The Coast Guard will enforce a safety zone for the Freedom Festival in Luna Pier, MI on June 27, 2026, from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This enforcement is to protect life and property on navigable waters before, during, and after the event. During enforcement, no person or vessel may enter the safety zone without permission from the Captain of the Port Detroit or a designated representative. The regulation is part of 33 CFR 165.941 and applies specifically to the regulated area listed in item (38) of Table 1 to Sec. 165.941.
