Description
The United States International Trade Commission has instituted preliminary phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigations to determine if imports of air compressors from China, Malaysia, and Vietnam are causing material injury or threat to the U.S. industry. These imports are alleged to be sold at less than fair value and subsidized by the governments of the respective countries. The investigations are pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 and cover products under subheading 8414.80.16 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States. The Commission must reach a preliminary determination by June 15, 2026, and transmit its views to the Department of Commerce by June 23, 2026.
