Description
The Coast Guard is proposing to revise its existing regulation to add a new recurring Special Local Regulation (SLR) for certain navigable waters of Sandusky Bay. This regulation aims to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards during a swim event in Sandusky Bay. The proposed rule would prohibit persons and vessels from transiting the regulated area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Detroit.
