Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters on the Keweenaw Waterway in Hancock, MI. This safety zone is intended to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with the Bridgefest Regatta Fireworks Display. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Marine Safety Unit Duluth, or their designated representative. The safety zone will be enforced from 10 p.m. through 11:30 p.m. on June 13, 2026, covering all navigable waters within 1120 feet of the fireworks barge.
