Description
This solicitation seeks the services of an experienced and qualified individual to serve as the Chair of the National Research Council (NRC) Research Ethics Board (REB) for a period of 2 years, from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028, with the possibility of four additional 2-year contract extensions. The Chair will report to the NRC Senior Ethics Officer and support the NRC REB in maintaining high ethical standards in research involving human participants. Responsibilities include overseeing the ethical review of research proposals and ensuring compliance with policy requirements and ethical standards. The Chair provides overall leadership for the REB and facilitates the review process based on NRC policies and procedures.
