The University of Waterloo is seeking consulting services for Phase 2 of Kiinomaage Aki, an Indigenous land-based teaching and learning initiative located at Columbia Lake on the University's North Campus. This phase focuses on the planning and design of permanent and semi-permanent exterior spaces to enhance the site's capacity for Indigenous land-based learning and community use. The project supports Indigenous ways of knowing, cultural practice, community engagement, and intercultural learning. Phase 1 established immediate, non-permanent uses such as a teaching lodge and sweat lodge.
