The U.S. Embassy Madrid is seeking a contractor for a comprehensive boiler system upgrade at its facility in Madrid, Spain. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Madrid, General Services Office, Facilities Maintenance Engineer - OEMs and Vendors: - Notable OEMs specified: Grundfos (MAGNA1 25-120N water pumps), Spirotech (Spirocross XC100 FM magnetic separator or equivalent) - Products and Services Requested: - Installation of a magnetic separator (Spirocross XC100 FM or similar) - Repair of floor trip hazards with epoxy resin flooring (anti-slip, RAL color finish) - Replacement of hot water manifold and related piping - Supply and installation of Grundfos MAGNA1 25-120N water pumps (2 units) - Rental and installation of temporary domestic hot water heat pump system - Fabrication and installation of auxiliary bypass for DHW and pool-cafeteria circuits - Installation of new piping and reconnection unit for DHW system - Site survey, permitting, area isolation, access restriction, project management, and documentation - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with local permitting and safety standards - Work must be completed in phases within 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed - Detailed documentation, as-built drawings, and cleanup required - VAT may be exempted for U.S. government contracts - Temporary heat pump system required to maintain DHW during remodeling - Place of Performance: - U.S. Embassy Madrid, Calle de Serrano, 75, 28006 Madrid, Spain
