Army Solicitation for Firefighting Truck, ATVs, and Fire Suppression Systems in North Macedonia

The Department of the Army's 409th Contracting Support Battalion (CSB) is seeking to procure specialized firefighting vehicles and equipment for use in North Macedonia. - Government Buyer: - 409th CSB, Theater Contracting Center, KO Directorate of Contracting - Products/Services Requested: - Firefighting truck with increased throughput - 1200-liter tank, three-seat cab, drawers for equipment, lighting, blue siren - Water mist extinguishing technology, foam mixer, set of 8 specialized nozzles - Honda GH270 or equivalent Briggs and Stratton drive unit, AR pump - Two hose reels (60m + 30m each), ergonomic pistol grip valve, key start with battery - Compliant with European machine directives and standards (e.g., EN 1846-2:2012) - ATV quadricycles - EFI Bosch or similar engine, 800cc, 4WD, advanced suspension, aluminum rims, electric winch, LED lights - Light off-road pickup trucks - Double cabin 4x4, 2.4 D-4D diesel engine, Euro 6, advanced safety features, cargo area for fire extinguishing system - Fire extinguishing system for pickup truck - 350-400 liter tank, 20 bar pump, foam tank, hose up to 100m, pistol grip nozzles - Modular fire extinguishing system for ATV-pickup - 450-liter water tank, diaphragm pump, gasoline engine, foam system, stainless steel construction - Notable Requirements: - All equipment must comply with European machine directives and harmonized standards - Specialized nozzles for various fire types (forest, urban, chimney, hazmat) - Equipment designed for local use in North Macedonia - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated, but equivalent quality to Honda, Briggs and Stratton, and Bosch is referenced - Quantities are generally not specified except for one firefighting truck (CLIN 0001: quantity 1)

Description

The 409th CSB, Theater Contracting Center is publishing this presolicitation notice for the purchase of Firefighting Vehicles, ATVs and ATV firefighting components for in support of firefighting activities in North Macedonia. This requirement will be solicited to local sources.  All related equipment and configurations can be found in supporting documentation on attached Technical Specifications and Salient Characteristics.
