Replace Existing Physical Security Alarm System at Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway (SACN), Saint Croix Falls, WIThe National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of contractors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey and other available information.The work shall take place at Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway, Saint Croix Falls, WI. A summary of the work follows:The required work includes replacing the aging fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems with new fire alarm andintrusion alarm systems at the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway. The existing systems are experiencingsignificant false alarms and local servicing organizations are having difficulties servicing the existing systems. TheNational Park Service (NPS) desires to replace the existing systems with non-proprietary systems ensuring localservice organizations can maintain the new systems. Work covered includes:a. Demolition and replacement of the existing fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems within multiple buildingsb. The installation of a new electronic access control system with card reader access for selected doorsc. The replacement of selective doors, frames and door hardwared. Contractor is responsible for minor patching, painting and firestopping of areas affected by the work to maintain existing conditionse.
