The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to install and upgrade an Entrapment Area System at the Keesler Command Post, enhancing security and access control. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 81st Contracting Squadron (FA3010 81 CONS CC) - Place of performance: Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, MS (Command Post, Building 4330 Room 143) - Products Requested: - Commercial grade keypad (1 unit) - Proximity Access Cards (PACs), programmable (25 units) - PAC scanners (2 units) - Exit button (1 unit) - Standalone computer with 24-inch monitor (1 unit) - Specialized access control software (1 unit) - Entry and exit buttons for controller positions and entry control area - Open/Secured switches (3 units) - Balance magnetic switches (BMS) (2 units) - Battery power backup system (1 unit, minimum 4-hour capacity) - Services Requested: - 24/7 system support and maintenance - Semi-annual preventive maintenance inspections - Warranty coverage for all components - Unique Requirements: - Standalone computer must operate without internet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or camera - Software must manage individualized personnel profiles for at least 25 users - Compliance with AFI 10-207 and secure door operation standards - 24-hour response time for system failures - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; all equipment must be commercial grade and meet government specifications. - Contractors must provide product literature and certify compliance with all Statement of Work criteria.

Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources to procure an entrapment area system for Keesler AFB, MS as described in the attached Statement of Work.

This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not at this time seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense.

Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the SAM.gov website for additional information pertaining to this sources sought.

RESPONSE INFORMATION:

Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be received no later than 3:00 PM CST, on Monday, 11 May 2026. It is the responsibility of the respondent to ensure their email has been received by contacting either the Contract Specialist, Stacey Zawalski, at 228-377-1829 or Contracting Officer, Priscilla Brown, at 228-377-1827 or via email PRIOR to the deadline. Responses and/or inquiries WILL NOT be accepted past the deadline.

Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status, and whether or not they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. All interested parties must provide a response containing a written statement confirming they can comply with the Government needs as specified in the Statement of Work, any associated product literature, and if the items are located on a Federal Supply Schedule contract.
