The U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Hamilton is seeking renovation services for the common areas of Single Soldier Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) in Building 209, Brooklyn, NY. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Hamilton, Directorate of Public Works, Operations and Maintenance Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Bosch (specified for water source heat pumps) - Products and Equipment Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing blinds, drapes, air conditioner, shower curtains, and vinyl cove base - Installation of: - 60 blackout shades (interior, horizontal, 48" W x 84" H) - 160 linear feet of 4-inch vinyl cove base - 1 four-ton split unit air conditioner (wall mount, laundry room area) - 30 stainless steel curtain rods (5 ft long) - 30 vinyl cloth shower curtains - 1 wall-hung vitreous China urinal (with rough-in, supply, waste, vent lines, and flushometer) - 7 Bosch water source heat pumps, 0.75 TON (Model CA009-1URC) - 1 Bosch water source heat pump, 1 TON (Model CA012-1URC) - Accessories for heat pumps: R-454 refrigerant, temperature controllers, TXVs, cabinets, thermostats, insulation, dual Schrader ports, high/low pressure cutouts, and warranty - Repairs and Finishes: - Window screen mesh replacement for 110 windows - Saw cutting and re-pointing of 1,000 VLF mortar joints - Skim coating of 3,000 sq. ft. wall surface - Painting: 350 sq. ft. ceiling, 6 doors/frames, 2,650 sq. ft. interior walls (Benjamin Moore White latex paint) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment - Environmental compliance and waste management per Army and NY State regulations - Work must be completed within 90 working days after the preconstruction meeting, with allowances for material delays - All work to be performed at Building 209, Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, NY

Based on the responses to this Request for Information/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Description:

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey has a requirement to renovate the common areas of the Single Soldier Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) at Building 209, Fort Hamilton, NY. The work consists of furnishing all labor, expertise, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the renovation.

Services include, but are not limited to, the following:

Removal and Disposal: Removal of existing cove base, blinds, drapery, an air conditioner, and shower curtains. Furnishing and Installation: Installation of new blackout shades, cove base, a 4-ton split unit air conditioner, shower curtains, and a urinal. Repairs and Finishing: Repairing all window screens, re-pointing mortar joints, and performing extensive surface preparation and painting of walls, ceilings, and doors. Equipment Delivery: Purchase and delivery of specified water source heat pumps.
