(manufacturer of the Metis DRS 2020 DCS scanner) - Solicitation allows for "equal or superior" products to the Metis DRS 2020 DCS - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) Metis DRS 2020 DCS large-format table scanners (or equivalent) - Minimum 78" x 47" scanning bed - 16K CMOS sensor, 1600 PPI optical resolution - Vacuum hold-down technology, patented LED lighting system - Archival-grade imaging for permanent federal records - Compliance with 36 CFR 1236 Subpart E and FADGI Three-Star standards - Software for scanning, post-processing, and firmware updates - Installation and calibration by OEM-authorized technicians - On-site training for at least three NMMR personnel - 3-year extended warranty and comprehensive maintenance services (including preventative and corrective maintenance, 12 on-site visits per year, and rapid response for break/fix issues) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Scanners must be non-contact, suitable for fragile, oversized mine maps - All maintenance and service must be performed by OEM-certified technicians using new OEM-approved parts - Calibration must be validated using GoldenThread targets and OpenDICE, with documentation provided - Delivery and installation required within 60 days of contract award - Base period plus four option years for ongoing maintenance and support - Set aside for small businesses, including HUBZone and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses - Place of Performance/Delivery: - National Mine Map Repository (NMMR), 3 Parkway Center Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 - Contracting office: 1849 C Street NW, Washington, DC 20240
