NOTE: This will be a Sealed Bidding Solicitation, all responses to this Invitation For Bid (IFB) shall be submitted via FedConnect ONLY. Email proposals WILL NOT be accepted.The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA, Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) has a requirement for a Contractor to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project.Sidney Substation Breaker Replacement, the contractor will be responsible for demolition and site development, foundations and platforms for substation electrical equipment, installation of three (3) Government-furnished power circuit breakers, installation of three (3) Government-furnished CCVTs and two (2) Government-furnished CCVT support pedestals, and furnishing and installing high voltage bus, grounding system, conduit, and insulated cables.The principal components of work include the following:a. Provide demolition and site development.b. Provide foundations and platforms for substation electrical equipment.c. Install (3) Government-furnished power circuit breakers.d. Install (3) Government-furnished CCVTs and (2) Government-furnished CCVT support pedestals.e. Furnish and install high voltage bus, grounding system, conduit, insulated cables.Location:Sidney Substation2297 Road 111Sidney, NE 69162Directions: From the town of Sidney head north on 13th Avenue from Illinois St (Hwy 30) for 0.4 miles to Cedar Street. Turn left and go 0.3 miles to 17th Avenue (Haskell Hill Road). Turn right and go 0.9 miles to substation on the right.
