Shawnee County Public Works is soliciting qualified firms to provide on-call real estate acquisition services for infrastructure projects across the county. - Buyer: Shawnee County Public Works, under the Board of County Commissioners - Scope of work: - Acquisition of titles, permanent and temporary public right-of-way easements, and all necessary property rights for road, bridge, and sewer projects - Services include title investigations, negotiations with property owners, preparation and execution of required documents, condemnation documentation, and attendance at progress meetings - Compliance with Kansas Department of Transportation's Bureau of Right of Way acquisition manual, as well as all applicable federal and state laws - Firms must have negotiators approved by the County and be available to serve as expert witnesses in court if needed - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are involved, as this is a professional services procurement - Contract duration: - Initial period of three years, with up to three additional one-year extensions possible (maximum six years) - Place of performance: - Services to be performed throughout Shawnee County, with meetings at 1515 NW Saline Street, Suite 200, Topeka, Kansas
