Gilbane Building Company, Construction Manager for the 7th & College Street Parking Deck for Mecklenburg County, is soliciting pre-qualification applications from subcontractors interested in bidding the Precast Concrete scope of work. The project involves demolition of an existing structure and construction of a new 263-space urban precast concrete parking deck with elevators, egress stairwells, emergency generators, fire pump, and approximately 7,000 SF of retail shell space along 7th Street. Streetscape improvements to 7th Street are also included. The construction duration is anticipated to be approximately 12 months, subject to change based on Construction Drawings release.
