The Federal Highway Administration's Central Federal Lands Highway Division is seeking geotechnical drilling and subsurface investigation services for the Ash Canyon Road and Trailhead project in Carson City, Nevada. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, Central Federal Lands Highway Division - Contact: Chinh Le - Requested Services and Products: - Geotechnical drilling: 5 shallow borings (5 ft depth) and 2 deep borings (30 ft depth) using a track-mounted drill rig - Vacuum excavation potholing for utility locates (2 water lines at 2 locations, 4 vertical locates) - Mobilization and demobilization, including all office work, task management, travel, per diem, utility locates, and traffic control - Backfilling and asphalt pavement restoration after drilling and potholing - Miscellaneous supplies: 7 five-gallon buckets with lids, 7 bags (50 lb each) of aggregate/gravel, 5 bags (50 lb each) of cold mix asphalt patch - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Work is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 541380 - No overnight stays expected; daily work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, excluding holidays and weekends - 14-day advance notice required before drilling - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - All work to be performed at Ash Canyon Road and Trailhead, Carson City, Nevada
