Email proposals WILL NOT be accepted.The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA, Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) has a requirement for a Contractor to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project.North Gunnison 115-kV Switch Installation to add a 115kV Disconnect Switch to the bus work to provide flexible operation to feed the North Gunnison loads and allow WAPA to maintain all the electrical substation equipment.The principal components of work include the following:a. Provide demolition and site development.b. Remove and dispose of existing pedestals, rigid bus, insulators, and concrete foundations.c. Furnish and install 115kV disconnect switch, structural steel, foundations, and associated equipment. Location:North Gunnison SubstationDirections: From Montrose, Colorado, take U.S. Highway 50 (east) approximately 66 miles to Gunnison, Colorado. Turn left (north) on State Route 135; go approximately 1.1 miles towards Crested Butte, Colorado. Then turn right (east) on Clark Boulevard to go to North Gunnison Communication Site.Latitude: N 38° 33' 37"Longitude: W 106° 55' 29"Elevation: 7749'Datum: NAD83/WGS84The anticipated period of performance is 730 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The estimated magnitude of construction is Between $100,000 and $250,000. FAR Part 14 is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside.
