Description

This final rule establishes Class D and Class E airspace at the Jose Aponte de la Torre (RVR) airport in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. The action is taken due to the United States Marine Corps operating an airport traffic control tower at the RVR airport. Class D airspace is designated from the surface up to 2,500 feet mean sea level within a 5-mile radius of the airport, and Class E airspace extends upward from 700 feet above the surface within a 7-mile radius. The purpose is to enhance the safe and efficient management of instrument and visual flight rules operations in the area. The rule is effective July 9, 2026.
