Description

SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Trauma Medical Products from a contract awarded by a consortium (GPO) pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent Trauma Medical Products to (Stryker / Howmedica) may contact David Mazza to discuss the procurement. Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance and KPIs of the products. Vendors offering clinical equivalents must provide free supporting clinical documentation and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. The vendor must be authorized by the OEM to sell their offered products as listed on the GPO contract or approved equivalent. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, the Lobbying Law, restricting contact to the designated individual. The successful contractor must submit valid and current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms.
