The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), is seeking Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) to provide secure, on-site document destruction services for Human Capital Services. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Acquisition Directorate - Contracting office located at 1800 G Street NW, Washington, DC - Services Requested: - Monthly destruction of sensitive materials (paper, photographs, microfilm, video, CDs/DVDs, flash drives) - Use of three 65-gallon bins, one at each of the following federal facilities: - Baltimore Human Resource Center (31 Hopkins Plaza, Suite 1610, Baltimore, MD 21201) - Baltimore Leadership & Professional Development (31 Hopkins Plaza, Suite G100, Baltimore, MD 21201-2825) - Des Moines Human Resource Center (210 Walnut St., Des Moines, IA 50309) - On-site shredding using a mobile shredding vehicle compliant with industry standards and VA Directive 6371 - Secure containers and certified destruction required - Unique Requirements: - Contractor eligibility limited to SDVOSB or VOSB status - Compliance with VA Directive 6371 for secure destruction - Contract includes a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods (up to five years total) - No specific OEMs or part numbers are mentioned; this is a sources sought notice to identify capable contractors.

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is issuing this Sources Sought for Document Destruction Services for Human Capital Services (HCS). The intent is to locate Certified SDVOSB or VOSB contractors capable of providing Document Destruction services at the sites listed below through a single contract award. The information provided may be used by VBA in developing its acquisition strategy.
