This opportunity involves a sole source contract for onsite cleaning, calibration, and minor repair of laboratory pipettes and balances for CDC and NIOSH facilities. - Scope includes: - Onsite cleaning, calibration, and minor repair of approximately 1000 pipettes and 76 laboratory balances - Service covers major pipette brands: Rainin, Eppendorf, Oxford, Labsystems, Finn, Titertek, Biohit, Wheaton, MLA, Matrix, Gilson, Denville, Nichiryo, Transferpette - Both multi-channel and single-channel pipettes included - Preventative maintenance, disassembly, seal replacement, recalibration, and ISO 17025 certification - Calibration certificates and warranty (six months to one year) required - Vendor must be ISO 17025 certified and provide onsite service, calibration reports, and warranties - Sole source provider named: Pipette Repair Service, Inc. - Place of performance includes CDC and NIOSH facilities in Morgantown, WV and Cincinnati, OH - Period of performance is one year, from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027, with onsite visits scheduled within this timeframe - Commercial opportunity for pipette and balance maintenance providers with ISO 17025 certification

Description

The selected vendor will provide cleaning and calibration of 1000 pipettes during a one-week onsite visit. This service should include cleaning, calibration, and minor repair on most major brands and types of pipettes. Brands include, but are not limited to, Rainin, Eppendorf, Oxford, Labsystems, Finn, Titertek, Biohit, Wheaton, MLA, Matrix, Gilson, Denville, Nichiryo, and Tranferpette. Multi-channel and single-channel pipettes will need to be serviced.
