Description
The Department is seeking a contractor to administer the Wisconsin Rural Transit Assistance Program (RTAP). This program aims to enhance the competence of rural transportation providers throughout Wisconsin, including demand-response and fixed route bus services, shared-ride taxi programs, volunteer driver programs, work centers, and medical providers. Primary tasks include conducting relevant training courses, administering a training/professional development scholarship program, and maintaining a program website. Secondary tasks include conducting an annual needs assessment to guide future curricula and developing new training materials as needed. Training will be scheduled in consultation with WisDOT and stakeholders and may occur in person or virtually at various locations around the state.
