Texas is launching a statewide procurement for wireless, pager, and satellite communication services and related hardware to support government agencies, schools, and libraries. - Government Buyer: - Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR), Chief Procurement Office - Scope of Procurement: - Cellular voice and data plans with required equipment (cell phones, tablets, accessories) - Wireless network solutions: IoT communications, campus mesh, private wireless, DAS, point-to-point microwave, outdoor Wi-Fi - Pager services and equipment: individual/wide-area pagers, business paging systems - Satellite voice and data services with required equipment (satellite phones, dishes, routers) - Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) and Geosynchronous Equatorial Orbit (GEO) satellite services - Wi-Fi hotspots for off-premises use (100 units) - Wireless access points, antennas, connectors, and related components (up to 1000 units) - Services Requested: - Installation and initial configuration of wireless equipment (100 units) - Equipment installation and network turn-up - Technical support and maintenance (annual/hourly) - Site assessments prior to installation - Network buildout and assembly projects - Basic maintenance of internal connections - Unique Requirements: - Direct sales to eligible DIR customers via Communications Technology Services Agreement (CTSA) - Compliance with accessibility standards (PDAA and VPAT) - Indefinite quantity contract with no minimum purchase guarantees - Stand-alone equipment sales excluded; must be bundled with services - Detailed pricing and service information required - No specific OEMs or vendors named; open to all qualified manufacturers, publishers, and service providers - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Texas Department of Information Resources, 300 W. 15th Street, Suite 1300, Austin, TX 78701 - Statewide delivery to eligible DIR customers

Description

The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) is seeking to contract for cellular, wireless, pager, and satellite voice and data plans, along with related equipment. The services aim to provide eligible DIR Customers with effective and efficient wireless voice and data solutions. The scope includes cellular voice and data plans with required equipment, wireless voice and data infrastructure services, pager services and related equipment, satellite voice and data services with required equipment, and any wireless communication solutions and equipment. Respondents must be manufacturers, publishers, or service providers who will sell directly to Eligible Customers through a DIR Communications Technology Services Agreement (CTSA).
