Dallas College Solicits Comprehensive Custodial Services for All Campuses and Facilities

Dallas College is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive custodial services across all its campuses and satellite locations in Dallas County, Texas. - Scope of Work: - Full-service custodial support for 23 sites, including seven main campuses and multiple satellite facilities - Services include daily cleaning, floor care, restroom maintenance, window cleaning, trash/recycling removal, event support, and special projects - Contractor must supply all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and supplies (except for select College-owned equipment) - Staffing requirements specify minimum full-time equivalents (FTEs) for porters, cleaners, supervisors, managers, and event staff, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed - Mandatory site visits for each group (Group A: Main Campuses, Group B: Satellite Campuses); vendors may bid on one or both groups, evaluated independently - No subcontracting permitted; all staff must pass criminal background checks and comply with conduct and safety standards - Minimum wage rates for certain positions ($15-$30/hr), with continued pay during inclement weather or emergencies - Use of inspection software for quality assurance is required - Environmentally preferred products and autonomous cleaning technologies are encouraged - Diversey is the most commonly used brand for cleaning chemicals, but equivalent alternatives are acceptable; no specific OEMs are mandated for equipment or supplies - Contract Structure: - Initial one-year term with up to four annual renewal options (maximum five years) - Annual payment and performance bonds required - Pricing must be submitted using provided Excel cost sheets; annual price increases may be proposed - Eligibility and Submission: - Open to all qualified businesses, including small, minority, service-disabled, and women-owned firms - Proposals must be submitted electronically via Workday Strategic Sourcing - Locations: - Services to be performed at all Dallas College campuses and facilities, including but not limited to: Brookhaven, Cedar Valley, Eastfield, El Centro, Mountain View, North Lake, Richland, LeCroy Center, Garland Center, Pleasant Grove Center, Coppell Center, Irving Center, West Dallas Center, Culinary Pastry and Hospitality Center, Bill J.
