The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) has applied for designation of a material site (ADL 231677) and a material sale contract (ADL 231669) along the Denali Highway at approximately milepost 79, about 47 miles southeast of Cantwell, Alaska. The site encompasses approximately 159 acres within Section 11, Township 21 South, Range 1 East, Fairbanks Meridian. DOT&PF seeks to extract and purchase 100,000 cubic yards of sand and gravel at the Public and Charitable rate for a term of five years, from summer 2026 through summer 2030, to support road maintenance activities.
