Description
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska has opened Docket U-26-010 to propose a revised base amount for Power Cost Equalization (PCE) calculations. The current base amount of 20.38 cents per kilowatt-hour is proposed to be adjusted to 22.11 cents per kilowatt-hour based on weighted average residential energy sales in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau during 2025. The utilities involved include Chugach Electric Association, Matanuska Electric Association, Golden Valley Electric Association, and Alaska Electric Light and Power Company.
