Marion County is seeking to procure Eimco mixer components and related equipment for the Silver Springs Shores Wastewater Treatment Facility (SSS WWTF). The facility was originally designed around the Eimco mixer system, and its treatment basin configuration requires this specific equipment for proper aeration and operational performance. Due to the proprietary design and integration of the Eimco system, no alternative manufacturer’s equipment can be installed without significant reconfiguration and taking the plant offline, which is operationally infeasible.
