Description
Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a sole source procurement to Water Treatment & Controls Technology, Inc., for ongoing and as-needed purchases of Wallace & Teirnan and Evoqua brand multifunctional controllers, Depolox analyzers, parts, and related services for the Water Resources Department for five years at an estimated cost of $611,692.29. The equipment is used to analyze and monitor water quality at remote potable water nodes as part of the Countywide Potable Water Quality Monitoring Project. The parts and services are required to replace, install, and repair in-kind equipment to maintain facility operations and compliance with environmental regulations. The procurement is made under the County’s Procurement Policy as the vendor is the exclusive manufacturer’s representative for the equipment and parts.
