Description

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to enter into a five-year management agreement for the operation of the John D. Bradley Convention Centre. The selected contractor will be responsible for comprehensive management including marketing, event management, custodial services, facility maintenance, catering, administrative functions, and day-to-day operations. The facility will remain municipally owned but managed as a self-operating business unit by the contractor. The Convention Centre includes an Expo Hall of approximately 25,000 square feet, a Ballroom of approximately 7,500 square feet, and seven additional meeting rooms accommodating 10 to 1,800 guests.
