Arlington Independent School District (AISD) is seeking vendors to provide maintenance and repair services for drive-in doors and a wide range of commercial cooking equipment in its Food & Child Nutrition Services Department. - Government Buyer: - Arlington Independent School District (AISD), Food & Child Nutrition Services Department - OEMs and Vendors: - Jamison Door Company (Mark IV doors) - Products/Services Requested: - Maintenance and repair services for drive-in doors, including all labor, parts, and supplies - Mechanical components such as seals, cogs, hinges, chains, gas regulators, valves, pilot orifices, and ignition controls - Maintenance and repair services for cooking equipment, including: - Braising pans, combi-ovens, commercial coffee makers, microwaves, mixers, ovens, ranges, serving line equipment, slicers, steamers, tilting kettles, toasters, warming cabinets, and dish machines - Replacement parts for all listed equipment - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All new work must be warranted for at least one year - Vendors must comply with Buy American provisions for food service equipment - Insurance and criminal background checks required for service providers - Services must be available both during business hours and after-hours - Vendors must provide rate sheets, references, and service/support plans - Selection criteria include price, references, services/support, and suitability of goods/services - Contract Details: - Initial one-year contract with options for two additional one-year extensions - Annual pricing renewal for each extension

Description

The Arlington Independent School District (AISD) is seeking a contract for a Drive-In Door Specialist for the Food & Child Nutrition Services Department. This request for proposal (RFP) is for repair and/or replacement of any mechanical components and/or adjustments to drive-in doors. The contract includes maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis with a one-year term and options for two additional one-year extensions. The scope covers labor, parts, supplies, and services related to cooking equipment and drive-in doors. Bids are due by May 14, 2026, with an anticipated board meeting on June 16, 2026.
