Le projet vise à répondre à la demande croissante en éducation supérieure dans la région de Terrebonne en créant un pôle structurant d’enseignement, de collaboration et de vie universitaire. Le développement a pour objectif d’améliorer l’accessibilité aux études supérieures, soutenir la croissance démographique et contribuer au développement social, économique et scientifique du territoire. L’appel d’offres concerne la conception du premier pavillon du quartier universitaire, qui constitue la première étape concrète du projet, et la sélection d’une firme d’ingénierie pour fournir les services professionnels requis.
