The School District No. 36 (Surrey) is seeking expressions of interest from current non-profit operators of licensed child care to operate before and after school care at four locations in Surrey, BC: Beaver Creek Elementary, Cedar Hills Elementary, Royal Heights Elementary, and Theresa Clarke Elementary. The district may award or not award any of these spaces or change site locations depending on requirements. Selected operators will enter into a license agreement and pay license fees. Child care programming should be operational by September 2026, with priority access given to children enrolled or enrolling at the host school, then neighboring schools, then residents of Surrey, and finally any child.
