This opportunity is for a five-year contract to provide semi-annual preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for COMET Technologies USA, Inc. industrial x-ray generators at Navy facilities in Washington State. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) - Trident Refit Facility (TRIREFFAC) Bangor - Contracting office: Code 421 - OEM Highlight: - COMET Technologies USA, Inc. is the required OEM for all covered x-ray equipment - Contractor must be an authorized COMET service provider with proof of OEM training/certification - Products/Services Requested: - Semi-annual preventative maintenance for two COMET x-ray generators (models MXR-320-26AX, serial 626630, and MXR-320/26, serial 1060031) - Up to two troubleshooting service calls per year - Repair services as needed (not to exceed specified cost) - All work must be performed by certified COMET technicians; replacement parts are excluded from the contract - Services include inspections, cleaning, testing, reporting, and maintenance of PC-based controllers using COMET iVario control software - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only authorized, OEM-certified technicians may perform work - Contract is structured as a 5-year IDIQ with a minimum order of $3,000 and a maximum of $75,500 - Technical and past performance criteria apply - Place of Performance: - TRF Bangor, Building 7000, Room W115 (Vault), Bangor, WA - NAVIMFAC PACNORWEST, 7000 Finback Circle, Silverdale, WA 98315-7000 - Puget Sound Naval Shipyard IMF, 1400 Farragut Ave, Bremerton, WA 98314-5001

Description

The contactor who performs the preventative maintenance and troubleshooting shall be an authorized service provider/technician on COMET Technologies USA, Inc. industrial x-ray equipment that uses a PC-based controller. The contractor shall provide a training certificate from COMET as proof of training/certification. The contractor must have a thorough knowledge of COMET Technologies USA, Inc. industrial x-ray equipment and maintenance requirements. The current machines used at TRIREFFAC are COMET x-ray model: MXR-320-26AX, serial number: 626630 (with standard controller) and COMET x-ray model: MXR-320/26, serial number: 1060031 (controlled with PC using COMET iVario control software).
