Description

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for a D-10 Hemoglobin Testing System Solution. This system is an ion-exchange HPLC designed to provide precise and reproducible results of hemoglobin binding proteins, including dual testing programs for HbA1c and fetal screening (HbA2 and HbF), even in the presence of common hemoglobin variants such as HbS, HbC, HbD, and HbE. The system allows loading up to 50 samples for walk-away capability with a Rack Loader option and will replace the current analyzer that has exceeded its useful life. Both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation.
