The Texas General Land Office (GLO) is seeking a contractor to remove and replace the bilge facility at Cove Harbor in Rockport, Texas. - Government Buyer: - Texas General Land Office (GLO), Gen. Land Off. & Vet. Land Bd. - 305 - Scope of Work: - Complete removal and replacement of the existing bilge facility - Demolition and disposal of three tanks (one 6,502-gallon, two 10,000-gallon) - Removal of approximately 200 feet of 2" PVC piping - Demolition of the existing pump shed and two centrifugal pumps - Installation of three new high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tanks (specific gravity 1.9, 15.8 lb/gal) - Installation of approximately 200 linear feet of new 2" HDPE piping - Construction of a new 8' x 12' Morgan-style metal-sided pump shed or approved equivalent - Installation of two stainless steel centrifugal pumps (1" suction/discharge, 1.5 HP, 3,500 RPM, 22 amp at 110V) - Services Required: - Demolition, removal, transportation, and certified disposal of all old equipment and waste - Pressure washing and proper disposal of wash water - Provision of all labor and materials - Compliance with OSHA, environmental, and wildlife protection standards - Securing all necessary permits and paying associated fees - Detailed project schedule and milestone/work progress reporting - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict adherence to environmental and regulatory compliance - Project is critical for Aransas County's bilge removal operations - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; equivalents may be proposed - Estimated contract value: approximately $225,000 - Place of Performance: - Cove Harbor Bilge Facility, Rockport, Texas
