The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division is seeking industry input for a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Alarm and Announcing System to support the Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) program upgrade. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWCPCD) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the government is seeking information from all capable sources - Products/Services Requested: - Commercial off-the-shelf Alarm and Announcing System for the SSC - Must generate naval supervisory tones (fire, alarm, collision) - Interface with craft intercommunication system and 70V constant-voltage speakers - Receive external signals and provide built-in test or health status indicator - ICS control station public addressing capability - Input/output interfaces: 28V serial discrete alarm trigger, 600 PA analog input - Electrical input: 18-32VDC, 150W max - MIL-STD grade connectors - Physical constraints: max 50 lbs, max 8U rack height, depth <24 inches (goal) - Environmental and electrical standards: MIL-STD-704A, MIL-STD-1310, MIL-STD-464, HERO, with goals for MIL-STD-461F (EMI) and MIL-STD-810F (environmental) - Vendors are asked to provide technical documentation, pricing for up to 100 units, reliability data, lead times, and diagnostic capabilities - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must be suitable for integration into the SSC upgrade - Emphasis on COTS solutions meeting naval and military standards - This is a Request for Information (RFI) for planning purposes, not a solicitation for proposals

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWCPCD) is conducting a survey of potential sources for the Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) program. NSWCPCD is seeking sources for a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Alarm and Announcing System for a system upgrade effort.
