Description
1. Purpose and Disclaimer
This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and market research planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ, if any is issued. This post is for Market Research Purposes only.
2. Requirements Description
The Government is seeking information for a commercial cloud-based weather intelligence service with API and platform access. The required solution must be capable of delivering the following below, including associated technical support as required:
a.) Advanced Forecasting: AI-native global probabilistic atmospheric prediction and regional ensemble modeling.
b.)System Integration: Custom vector events designed for direct, seamless data ingest into specified Government systems.
c.) Operational Alerting: Automated, threshold-driven environmental alerting.
d.) AOR Assessments: Mission- and asset-based environmental assessments tailored for designated overseas Areas of Responsibility (AORs).
3. Submission Instructions Interested and capable vendors are requested to submit a brief Capability Statement demonstrating their ability to meet all requirements listed in Section 2 and must include:
