COLONIAL NHP - REPLACE BACKHOE ENGINESOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID, NOR A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Responses to this Sources Sought will help to identify capable sources and develop acquisition strategy for the upcoming acquisition. Tasks include: pick up the equipment from the Yorktown Maintenance Yard, York County, VA, replace the non-functioning engine (to include unforeseen mechanical issues related to the engine repair in order to allow the backhoe to function properly and safely), then return the loader to the designated location.The contractor shall be qualified AND authorized to work on JCB equipment.b. Location of the Work: Equipment shall be picked up and delivered to the Yorktown Maintenance Yard, York County, Virginia.
