Johnston Community College is soliciting bids for the construction of a 600’ x 600’ concrete driving pad as part of the JCC Public Safety Complex Phase I project. The scope includes tree clearing, site demolition, erosion control, asphalt and concrete paving, parking lot reconfiguration, driveways, grading and drainage, curb and gutter, waterlines, sanitary sewer, and landscaping. Site lighting will be leased and installed through the Town of Smithfield. Bids must be submitted in sealed form by May 21, 2026, and electronic bids are not permitted. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 7, 2026, but is not mandatory.
