The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking bids for aluminum box culverts and structural plate headwalls for bridge maintenance projects in Nash, Wilson, and Wayne Counties. - Government Buyer: - North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), Division 4 Bridge Maintenance - Products and Services Requested: - Aluminum box culverts with aluminum structural plate headwalls and associated pipe - 70 linear feet of 90" diameter, 10GA, 3"x1" aluminum pipe with flanged & gasketed joints, including fully welded aluminum structural plate headwalls at inlet and outlet - 49.5 linear feet of #45-L2 aluminum box culvert with special .150" thick invert (19'-10" span x 7'-8" rise), HL-93 loading, includes 1 roll Tensar TX Geogrid - 45 linear feet of 9'-3" span x 6'-5" rise, .200" thick aluminum structural plate pipe arch, with fully welded aluminum structural plate headwalls, HL-93 loading - Assembly and installation oversight services, including on-site presence for a minimum of four days and provision of all necessary hand/power tools - Notable Requirements: - Delivery to Wayne County Bridge Yard in Goldsboro, NC - Vendor must provide detailed engineering drawings and safety bracing plans - Assembly must be completed within two working days of the agreed assembly date - Compliance with NCDOT specifications and state/federal employment and non-discrimination laws - Vendors must be registered and in good standing with North Carolina - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named in the solicitation - Period of Performance: - Delivery required within 60 consecutive calendar days after receipt of purchase order - On-site assembly and installation oversight for a minimum of four days

The Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks pricing from vendors to furnish, deliver, and assemble Aluminum Box Culvert with Aluminum Structural Plate Headwalls and Pipe for three Division 4 Bridge Maintenance projects located in Nash, Wilson, and Wayne Counties. The procurement will result in three separate Purchase Orders, one for each requisition listed in the IFB pricing table. The commodity code for this procurement is road and railroad construction materials (301217). Bids are to be submitted electronically and will be opened virtually on May 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET.
