The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking market research responses for solid waste landfill services at FMC Devens in Ayer, Massachusetts. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office - Contracting Officer: Sarah Burke - Services Requested: - Solid waste landfill services for FMC Devens - Estimated 540 tons of nonhazardous waste per year - Weekly deliveries (Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays) - Contractor must operate a Massachusetts-approved disposal facility within 10 miles of FMC Devens - Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations required - Contract Structure: - Indefinite delivery/requirements contract - One base year with four one-year option periods (up to five years total) - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the opportunity - Unique Requirements: - Facility must be Massachusetts-approved and within 10 miles of FMC Devens - Service includes disposal of nonhazardous trash, garbage, and construction debris delivered by government vehicles

THIS IS NOT A NEW REQUIREMENT – Services are currently in place for this requirement. The current incumbent is Devens Recycling Center, LLC. The contract was awarded in September 2023, in the amount of $199,260.00 for one (1) base year and two (2) one-year options. This contract is set to end on September 30, 2026.
