This opportunity is for a statewide contract to supply Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) products to Mississippi government entities. - Government Buyer: - State of Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration, Office of Purchasing, Travel and Fleet Management - Products/Services Requested: - Broad range of MRO supplies, including: - Hand tools (powered and non-powered) - Hardware and related items - Material handling equipment (carts, racks, pallets, etc.) - Janitorial supplies and equipment - Safety equipment and supplies - Plumbing equipment, fixtures, and supplies - Paint, coatings, varnish, wallpaper, and related products - Shoes and boots (work and safety footwear) - Electrical equipment and supplies - Manufacturing components and supplies - Welding equipment and supplies - Products must be offered at a minimum 10% discount off MSRP - Excludes items already covered by other statewide contracts (e.g., automotive parts, janitorial chemicals, toner cartridges, office supplies, paper towels, toilet tissue) - OEMs and Vendors: - Multiple OEMs are referenced in the price list and dealer list categories (e.g., manufacturers of air purifiers, abrasives, acoustical tile, bearings, belts, brushes, fasteners, floor maintenance machines, hoses, janitorial equipment, material handling, paint, pipe and fittings, plastics, plumbing, pumps, refrigeration, shoes and boots, spraying equipment, steam fittings, twine, welding equipment) - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must register in the Mississippi MAGIC e-procurement system - Proposals must be submitted electronically - Firm fixed pricing for 12 months; no price increases allowed during the contract term - Broad product offerings and competitive pricing are encouraged - Submission of price lists, dealer/distributor lists, and purchase summaries required - Place of Performance: - Statewide across Mississippi government facilities and offices
