The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) through the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is soliciting proposals from shortlisted proposers to improve, manage, operate, maintain, and finance the MDOT Freight Rail P3 Project. This project involves a public-private partnership (P3) agreement for MDOT-owned freight railroad lines on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and in Delaware.
