The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking transcriptomic (RNA) and epigenomic (ATAC) sequencing services for the Portland VA Medical Center in Oregon. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Portland Health Care System, Network Contracting Office 20 - Products and Services Requested: - Bulk RNA sequencing (base year and three option years) - Single nuclei RNA sequencing (base year and three option years) - ATAC sequencing (base year only) - Comprehensive sequencing services including sample pickup, quality control, library preparation, sequencing, and optional analysis - Transportation/courier service for temperature-sensitive samples (shipped with dry ice) - Quantities: - 10-100 samples per year (estimated) - One line item per sequencing type per contract year - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Sequencing facility must be located near Portland, OR - Contractor may optionally perform RNA isolation and ATAC sequencing tasks - All samples are temperature sensitive and require specialized handling and transport - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - Period of performance includes a base year with three one-year option periods, for a total of up to four years
