PSEG Long Island, acting on behalf of the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), is issuing a request for proposals to procure up to 685 MW of Capacity or Capacity and Energy from generating facilities located within the JCPL LDA or EMAAC load zones of the PJM Control Area. Respondents may propose a higher capacity up to the nameplate capacity of the project if it improves pricing, with pricing required for both 685 MW and the higher amount. The service term will begin on June 1, 2030, and end on October 31, 2039. The capacity must qualify as Locational Installed Capacity for Long Island (Zone K) under NYISO rules.
